Our mycare phytotherapeutics are a range of evidence based blends of potent botanic ingredients fusing ancestral and cutting edge science. These supplements are formulated by scientists using only the highest quality wild or certified organically grown ingredients in clinical doses and are designed to interact with key physiological pathways in the body.
All of the botanic ingredients we use have been carefully selected according to the most recent published findings on efficacy and safety and are backed by 300+ scientific references. Our suppliers are also carefully chosen to ensure that all ingredients are of the highest quality.
These unique formulations target various behavioural, functional and age-related issues in a multi-faceted way. This means that rather than targeting one gene at a time or treating one symptom in isolation, our phytotherapeutics target the problem systemically, affecting multiple pathways, and include ingredients which act synergistically to alleviate or ideally prevent symptoms all together.

Why plants?
For thousands of years, humans have relied on plants for survival. From shelter to food sources and even medicine; plants have been a mainstay in our human evolution.
Genetically, it follows that we have evolved to process plants and all their constituents in their entire, natural form. The human body is not designed to efficiently process isolated components of the plant.
For this reason, we never use extracts in our products.
Extracts contain only one of many bioactive compounds found in a plant.
For example, although curcumin is a major component of turmeric, it is just one of over 50 other compounds identified with potential bioactive properties. Hence, we believe using the whole plant maximises the health benefits and the efficacy of the product. The premium organic turmeric we source maximises the concentration of all of these compounds.
No excipients
Excipients include products to aid manufacturing process, increase shelf-life, appearance, texture, colour, taste, or simply to add bulk.
These substances are meant to be inert and non-toxic, however, according to current research, this is rarely the case. Besides having the potential to react with other ingredients in the formulation, excipients can also cause adverse reactions and hypersensitivity; ranging from a mild rash to a potentially life-threatening reaction.
All of our products are intentionally excipient free.
Why organic?
MyGene is committed to supporting environmentally sustainable and ethical practices.
Organically grown plants have not been exposed to human-made pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified organisms (GMOs); they grow simply how mother nature intended. This is important as these contaminants have been found to contribute to cancer risk, birth defects, and hormone dysfunction.
Research has also shown that organically grown plants contain significantly higher quantities of beneficial nutrients including antioxidants, and certain vitamins and minerals.
That’s why MyGene sources organic ingredients from certified producers whenever possible.
